So, yesterday Bubba decided that he wanted to shoot a video. The final product will be played on wednesday night at rev. What can I say about this video... It'll be interesting. It'll be funny, hopefully. And Jesse Swanson's performance was great. So here is a little behind the scenes footage to whet your appetite.

We just got back from the Geared camping trip. We had an absolute blast! We'll be posting pictures soon, but in case you were wondering what you missed out on . . . here are a few highlights:

• 10-mile canoe trip...lots of fights, canoe tipping, and beating each other with large sticks (I still have a flower imprint on my back!)
• Capture the Flag and Football in the Woods
• Devouring more food than you could imagine
• Flat tire... running over the skunk
• Huge marshmallow fight
• Pranking people... taking down their tents while they were in them...
  
• The Horse Poop... enough said
• Someone"trying" to pick up girls and getting them to meet us at the pool haha
• Someone hitting on a girl at the pool (O my lol)
• A sweet message and devo time with Chris and Jeff
• Someone flexing their abs on the water for girls ... hahaha

So much more... I can't wait until next years trip....

"His Beloved" Girls Day Out!

First off, allow me to mention that we are tired of the black and white screens, so we are changing things up. The student leadership team is currently working on painting a bunch of wood, and they are LOVING IT! you can see the excitement in their faces. So, what is it going to be? Well, you'll just have to come and check it out in person.

And in other news... We had service tonight.
Bubba had a great message about temptation. A few points:
Temptation
1. Don't be naive
2. find out your weak spots
3. Find some accountability
4. Don't give justification a chance... Just run.
5. See the big picture

And then there was the game. Oh, the game. Who could forget the game. What a game it was. What a game it was indeed. The image captures it all. And by "it all" I mean that this picture captures everything most playing this game new about this game. So, if you know what is going on here, then you are one step ahead of the people in the photo and kudos to you.

SRT last night was great! They told us that this is the biggest event they hold all year and we are privileged at Victory to host it!

Let's see... highlights:

1. Giving away the 100,000th ring at this show (Awesome)
2. Packing out the adult sanctuary full of teenagers and seeing students get saved and make commitments to stay pure until marriage!
   
3. The Laws of the Father videos (hilarious!)
4. The False Fire Alarm that caused us to have everyone evacuate!
5. Miss Teen PA signing autographs (I was afraid to meet her so I had Luann go up to her and ask her for an autograph for Rev...and we got it!)
6. The Last Epic concert

I'm finally back from vacation! I had a great time!!

Anyway... Our big Silver Ring Thing event is tomorrow night! This is an event you do not want to miss! Last year we had 1,000 teenagers come to our church for this event! It is going to be a life changing night!

Event starts at 7 and ends at 9 followed by an after party at our church! Be there!!!
