Don't forget to bring your friends to Rev this weekend! For every guest you bring you'll have an opportunity to win an iPod touch and your guest will have the opportunity to win a Mac Mini!
We're going to have a powerful service where your friends will get to hear the Word of God and have an opportunity to start their journey with God!
We want all 3 weekend services (Sat. @ 6 p.m., Sunday at 9 & 11 a.m.) to be packed!
BE THERE!
So last night Denny Pattyn wrapped up our series "Going all the Way" He did an amazing job! Some of our favorite nuggets were:
- There is a generation rising up that has a higher standard - God's standard
- Our generation is creating history - we'll read about this in the years to come
- Your body and sexuality are more powerful than you could ever imagine
- There are 30 STD's around today, 4 are incurable
- Most people don't find out they have an STD until later in life
- 65,000,000 people have an incurable STD - 1/4 of the population
- You can get STD's through both oral and regular sex
- Teenagers are more likely to get STD's than adults
- You can't be sexually active and grow in your relationship with God
As for the costume party - Here were our two winners:

We're wrapping up a series at Rev called Going all the Way. This past Wednesday as well as the weekend we had the Rev staff and 2 of our leaders answer students questions on sex, dating, and the single life. Here are some of the best questions we got:
- How much does a kiss mean to you?
- Is it ok for gays to have parades or whatever according to God?
- How far is too far?
- How do you know when you've found "the one"
- How do you tell someone you don't love them when they tell you they love you?
- Is masturbation ok?
- How sacred is marriage? If it's so sacred how did it get so demoralized in our culture? What is God's view of marriage?
- Where do we need to get our love? Not the dating kind, but the kind where you know who you are and than you're loved and that we're important...and how?
- What sort of situations should you avoid being in with the opposite sex?
- How do I get over the brokenness of breaking off a bad relationship?
- My entire family has never abstained from sex before marriage. How do I keep myself pure when I'm surrounded by that negative influence?
- Is sex before marriage ok if you've been together a long time or if you're engaged (you know you'll be with them the rest of your life.)
- What do you do if you have a bf/gf and your parents don't know about it?
- Is it possible for relationships that aren't God-centered to survive? How does our society do it?
- What are some specific standards and boundaries in your relationships with others of the opposite sex?
- What if one of your friends cheated on their bf/gf... what do you do?
- What is the difference/line between infatuation and real love?
- What do you do if your parents are encouraging you to wear make up and date the "right" guys for your reputation?
- How do you get over a broken heart?
- Where do you see most people "miss it" when it comes to dating?
- What if I've had sex with my bf/gf and can't stop... I know it's wrong, but it's so hard. What can I do?
- What if I'm in a relationship I know I shouldn't be in, but I'm afraid to break it off?

There are 2 ways to get your questions in during service:
- Open Mic - We'll have someone with a mic and you can ask your question live
- Texting - You'll be able to text your questions in to a number we provide for you!

We had a great service Wednesday night! We had our second "Dating 101" video staring Pastor Skip Dangle that will be up on our Vimeo site soon! We had a completely different structure to our format last night! We love to switch things up!
Pastor Nathan continued our series "Going all the Way" with a great message. Here are some of the highlights:
- "Where is the midget bus so I can laugh then leave this parade"
- "Midgets fall off trucks cause their hands are too small... then kids catch them and ask their parents if they can keep them."
Top 5 things that will derail our sexuality:
- Self Image, Media, Hormones, Music, Peer Pressure
- To remain pure you have to make the decision that you'll remain pure regardless of the circumstances.
- If you make a decision in the moment... you'll get stuck with things you never asked for.
- Virginity is the one thing nobody can take away from you, and the one thing that those who have given theirs away can never turn around and say that they remained a virgin until they were married.
- We were created to feed our needs and we'll either feed them with our appetite for the things of God or for the things of the world.
Overall it was a great night! Don't miss this weekend... amazing things will be in store!
